Back in the summer of 2023, we moved into our bright and breezy office space at Brighton Marina — a stone’s throw from the sea and a perfect backdrop for what would become two years of incredible growth.
Since then, a lot has changed.
We’ve built revolutionary relationships and partnerships with major telecoms and manufacturing companies worldwide. We were named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for 2025, earned the Best Customer Service award at the Sussex Business Awards 2023 and ranked 15th in the Elite Business 100 at the start of this year. We even jumped out of a plane (yes, really!) to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
From our headquarters in Brighton Marina, we have since expanded to supply products to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in each of the four UK nations, turning our perfect coastal base into an esteemed telecom hub.
However, as Altnets evolved, our look stayed the same; after two years, we thought it was about time that changed, too.
A Space That Develops Alongside Us
We are extremely pleased to share the first phase of the Altnets upgrade, a modern makeover which reflects our current identity and future direction.
Why now? Because we believe that your surroundings must grow alongside your team. In late 2020, with just three employees and an unofficial workplace, Altnets got its start. Fast forward to today, and we have built a flourishing business driven by an intelligent, committed workforce. Our employees deserve a workspace that supports them as our greatest asset.

As a partner-first business, we take great pride in cultivating long-lasting connections (pun intended!). We never hesitate to travel to build authentic relationships face-to-face with our partners, whether we’re driving across Europe or travelling to Inverness or Cornwall in the UK.
However, we also love hosting. Our office transformation is not just for us, but also for our partners. We’ve designed a space that is open, friendly, and authentically Altnets. A place where amazing talks transpire over great coffee, ideas are shared, and partnerships are formed.
