Blown Micro Cable (BMC) is ultra slim fibre cable, specifically designed for high performance air-blowing installation through micro-ducts. BMC Fibre are the ideal component for high-density access networks, FTTx and 5G infrastructure deployments. Parameters such as cable diameter, sheath friction and cable stiffness are optimised for long-distance air blown installation performance, through micro-ducts without compromising the mechanical or environmental properties. These cables have excellent bend performance and an extremely wide operational temperature range. BMC Fibre uses superior single-mode G657.A1 bend insensitive fibres as standard to ensure high performance, and further reassure network operators their systems are running efficiently.
