The FRBU fibre splice closure distributes fibre directly to individual buildings or properties. The FRBU is a smaller fibre closure from HellermannTyton that is often deployed in rural and less built up locations with fewer buildings to connect. The FRBU 16 Port closure features a polypropylene base with two cover length options and a 16 round port plus 1 oval port configuration, supporting cable diameters of 1.7–9.5mm (R ports) and 4.0–15.0mm (LM port) using Cablelok seals. It supports splitter accommodation, up to 6 Hellapon Medium trays for a maximum of 144 splices (24 fibres per tray), or 3 trays with an integrated loop storage basket positioned above the oval port for efficient fibre routing. The stainless steel mounting system and white trays enhance access, routing, and fibre identification throughout the management system.
