The FRBU fibre splice closure distributes fibre directly to individual buildings or properties. The FRBU is a smaller fibre closure from HellermannTyton that is often deployed in rural and less built up locations with fewer buildings to connect. The FRBU B Length closure features a polypropylene base with 9-port (8 round + 1 oval) or 11-port (10 round + 1 oval) configurations. It supports cable diameters of 1.7–20.0mm (Cablelok) and 6.0–24.0mm (heatshrink) for the 9-port, and 1.7–16.5mm (Cablelok) and 6.0–22.0mm (heatshrink) for the 11-port version. The stainless steel mounting system accommodates up to 6 Hellapon Medium trays (stacked or side-hinged) or 3 trays with a fibre loop storage basket, supporting up to 144 fibre splices with splitter accommodatio. Trays accept 3A or ANT splice bridges and are white for easy fibre colour identification. The closure’s design ensures clear fibre routing, access, and traceability.
