S1SX – MDU Series

The MDU S1XS has been designed for deployment within MDU’s (Multi-Dwelling Unit).The S1 XS is a V0-rated, IP54-sealed enclosure with up to 6 entry/exit ports for cables or ducts up to 8mm in diameter. It includes a loop-through facility for splicing individual fibre elements while allowing others to continue downstream. Mechanical fixing provides secure strain relief for incoming and outgoing cables or blown fibre ducts. The internal design maintains a minimum 30mm bend radius using fibre retention clips and positive fibre management. The enclosure accommodates up to 6 SC simplex or LC duplex adaptors and supports up to 30 fibre splices. A hinged, replaceable lid allows easy access for splicing and termination, and the unit can be supplied pre-loaded with adaptors and pigtails.. The S1 XS can be used within a Point to Point (P2P) or Point to Multi Point (P2MP) network.
