S3 64 – MDU Series

The enhanced MDU-S3 is a compact, preconnectorised enclosure designed for MDU networks, supporting up to 64 LC simplex connections. It incorporates the HellermannTyton Angled IR Fibre Management System (FMS), providing a maximum splice capacity of 96F. The FMS also includes fibre storage and direction change designed for both 250μm and 900μm fibres. The enclosure supports multiple corridor cables, securely fixing the corridor box manifold inside the unit to prevent damage or routing challenges to the 900μm connectorised tails. It features a newly designed connector plate providing up to 64 LC simplex ports for efficient subscriber connections and provisions for up to three bare-end splitters or a 1×32 or 2×32 connectorised PLC splitter. Manufactured from UV-stable light grey (RAL 7035) ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), IP54/IK08/V0 rating. It is designed with seven input/output ports (three on the bottom, two on top, and one on each side), each accommodating a 20mm cable gland, and includes a modular incoming cable seal and anchoring assembly to protect against post-installation cable damage or movement.
