Altnets Climbs Higher in the Elite Business 100 Rankings

EB100 Top 25 post

We’ve been ranked one of the top 100 SMEs in the UK, after securing the 21st spot in the esteemed Elite Business 100 (EB100) 2024 rankings. The second time Altnets has featured in the list, this year’s placement marks a significant advancement from our previous position at number 35, showcasing our ongoing growth and success despite only recently entering our fourth year of trading.

To celebrate our achievement, the Altnets team will be attending the prestigious awards ceremony on March 13th in St. Paul’s in London. Additionally, we have been featured in the EB100 digital guide (p. 72-73) and online directory, which will reach an audience of over half a million people.

The EB100 is considered Britain’s definitive and official list that is dedicated to recognising excellence within the SME community. The EB100 evaluation for each applicant is based on eight topics including growth trajectory, future ambitions, innovation, and contributions to both their team and the broader community. Altnets’ impressive performance across the criteria, including performance, year-on-year growth, innovation, and community contribution, has once again earned us a spot in this prestigious league table.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition for the second consecutive year,” said Sam Bangle, our Co-founder. “It’s a testament to the continued dedication and hard work of our team, as well as our commitment to providing exceptional service and products to our clients.”

The success of Altnets over the past year can be attributed to our impressive growth, adaptability, and onboarding of partnerships with leading manufacturers worldwide. This is all due to our remarkable team, who have made Altnets what it is today. After a 50% increase in our workforce over the past year, we’ve welcomed new perspectives and skills that keep us at the forefront of our sector.

“Altnets are innovators in the British SME community and deserve the spotlight shone on them from the Elite Business 100,” said Scott English, Brand Director of Elite Business. “This definitive league illustrates the crème de la crème of UK SMEs”.

Being named in the UK’s top 25 SMEs reflects our persistent dedication to advancing the telecommunications sector. Looking ahead, we are planning to expand our range of products and explore new markets to support economic growth and advance full-fibre coverage.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to grow and innovate the business!
