Pulse Fibre is leading a large-scale project to build telecoms infrastructure on
new housing estates across the UK. The project presented significant
challenges, including managing high volumes of orders, coordinating
multiple sites simultaneously, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries, even
when some locations lacked postcodes or official addresses.

Altnets partnered closely with Pulse to manage the supply of required products across multiple orders and oversee deliveries centrally, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency. By coordinating direct deliveries of large ducting and equipment from manufacturers to specific sites, we reduced handling, minimised transport duplication, and avoided delays. Real time tracking enabled live monitoring of orders and deliveries, allowing any delays or site access issues to be
resolved quickly.

This approach enabled the simultaneous management of numerous fast paced sites without bottlenecks. Additionally, optimised delivery routes and a centralised logistics strategy contributed to a reduction in the carbon footprint of transport operations.
